Connected Career Fellowship
The Connected Career Fellowship is a paid, two-year program for 30 Lane County high school students.
From September 2026 through August 2028, Fellows will explore career options, earn money, and build skills for their future. They will take part in internships, STEM projects, industry tours, job shadows, and other hands-on activities. Along the way, Fellows will meet caring mentors, make new friends, and gain real work experience. By the time they graduate, they will have a stronger resume, helpful connections, and a plan for what comes next.

Who is eligible?
The first Connected Career Fellowship is for high school students currently participating in Connected Lane County summer programs.
We're looking for youth who are eager to learn, try new things, and can commit to the full two-year program. Because this is a paid opportunity, Fellows are expected to attend regular activities, take part in internships, stay in touch with staff, and make the Fellowship a priority.

2026 Fellowship Cohort
The first Connected Career Fellowship will be invitation-only.

Fellows will be selected from Connected Lane County summer program participants. This gives us the chance to start the program with those who are already taking the first step.

We will open future Fellowship opportunities to more youth next summer.
