Invention Club
Invention Club is a free after-school STEM program where youth work in teams to solve real-world challenges.
Throughout the school year, participants build skills in human-centered design, problem-solving, teamwork, and rapid prototyping while creating projects that address needs in their communities.
As the Oregon MESA regional hub for Lane County, Connected Lane County offers Invention Club at participating schools and locations.

Oregon MESA Day brings together student teams from across the state to present projects, participate in engineering and design challenges, and celebrate a year of learning and innovation. Some teams may also qualify for additional competition opportunities.
For many youth, Invention Club is the first step in a larger STEM journey. Participants often continue exploring their interests through other Connected Lane County programs, including Invention Lab, Summer Internships, and other hands-on learning experiences.
