This September, Connected Lane County, Ophelia’s Place, and A Family for Every Child are opening the Youth HUB, a collaborative space for young people in downtown Eugene.
Located at 44 W. 7th Avenue, the Youth HUB brings education, career opportunities, mental health and wellness support, paid work experiences, basic-needs resources, and other services together in one location.
The goal is to make it easier for young people to access support, build connections, explore opportunities, and spend time in a welcoming space with trusted adults and peers.
Services and opportunities available through the Youth HUB will include:
Career exploration and workforce development
Education and postsecondary planning
Mental health and wellness programming
Youth development activities and peer connection
Basic-needs resources and referrals
Connections to additional community services and partners
The Youth HUB was made possible through an investment from Grace Serbu and the John Serbu Fund of Oregon Community Foundation.
The project has already received coverage from several local media outlets. Check out the stories below to learn more about the Youth HUB and its upcoming opening.
